Tracey has offered work experience opportunities to students from the constituency. The placement gives young people an insight in to local politics and a chance to boost their skills. Students have been able to help with a number of tasks:
- Assisting with office duties
- Casework, depending on the age and ability of the student
- Researching an issue
- Taking press-cuttings
- Writing press releases
- Accompanying the MP to a meeting or event in the House or in the Constituency
- Answering queries from constituents, either by 'phone or by email
Tracey is grateful to Kings Ferry Coach Company for continuing to support this initiative.
Please note that as Tracey is no longer the MP for Chatham & Aylesford and therefore will not be able to secure any other work experience placements for the time being. Should Tracey be re-elected in May 2015, please contact the office to enquire about work experience.
