On Friday 18th July Tracey visited the Heart of Kent Hospice in Aylesford. 

Whilst visiting, Tracey met with the interim chief executive, Vicki Morrey to discuss the new developments at the Hospice. Tracey also met with staff and volunteers and was given a tour of the new rooms and extension. 

Tracey said: “It has been great visiting the Heart of Kent Hospice again and having the chance to discuss their recent developments in delivering end of life care. I was very pleased to learn that the hospice have appointed a Dementia Lead Nurse to support their patients, families and staff in caring for people with dementia at end of life and that they will also be delivering training programmes specifically on end of life care for people with dementia.”
