Tracey Speaks Out Against Plans for New Pylons in Kent

Tracey has written to Steven Holliday, Chief Executive of the National Grid, opposing plans to construct 95 kilometres of pylons across Kent, the North Downs and Weald.

Tracey says: “We have some of the most beautiful countryside in Kent and to have ugly pylons built over it would be a crime against natural beauty, especially as the technology to bury cables underground exists and proves to be economically cheaper in the long term.”
