Tracey Joins Medway Breast Cancer Pamper Day

Tracey recently joined the Medway & Swale Association’s Breast Cancer Pamper Day on Saturday 7th November.

The Pamper Day was held at the Postgraduate Centre for Breast Cancer Patients at Medway Maritime Hospital from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

The event was free for all breast cancer patients in the Medway and Swale West area to attend and teas, coffee, juices and nibbles during the morning followed by lunch and afternoon tea with cakes. It was sponsored from funds raised purely from boot fairs, raffles and other such fundraisers.

Help and support from Breast Cancer nurses was available on the day. Therapists from a variety of fields also attended to give advice and sample sessions, these included; Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Reiki, Chiropodist and Beauty Consultants who ran Facials and Manicures.

Tracey said: “This is my third year I have supported this event and it was once again great to spend time with the fab ladies from Medway & Swale Breast Cancer Support Group at their pamper day. This is a very positive and fun day for all patients and their family and friends. It was great to join the ladies on the day for some very helpful advice and enjoyable pamper sessions. A very big well done to all involved in helping with the event and I look forward to supporting again next year.”
