Tracey will be supporting and attending a wellbeing event at the Capel Morris Centre on Tuesday 26th July and is encouraging all local military veterans to drop-in during the day.
This is the first Aged Veterans Healthy Living event to be held at the Capel Morris Centre in the RBLI Village in Aylesford, between 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday 26th July 2016.
Tracey encourages constituents to come along and meet other veterans, share stories and experiences and make new friends. There will be plenty on offer at the fair, including the opportunity to have health MOTs and to try out a few sports. Furthermore, people will be able to get involved in a drama performance lead by professionals from Maidstone’s Hazlitt Theatre and talk to the many local community organisations present.
Tracey said: “I was delighted to hear about this fantastic event being held here in Aylesford. It is very similar to my Pensioner’s Fair but with a specific focus to our military veterans who deserve the best possible support which they sometimes may struggle to find alone. That is why this event is a great initiative for bringing many local services together to help our veterans benefit from everything on offer and continue to live a positive retirement.”
