Tracey Encourages Constituents to Join the Friends of Horsted Valley

Tracey is encouraging constituents within Medway to join the Friends of Horsted Valley to help protect and improve the Medway Smile.

The Horsted Valley runs from the Davis Estate at the Southern end to Luton in the North. The FHV was formally established in October 2010 as a charitable, non-political, non-profit making community group whose primary interest is to promote, protect and maintain the Horsted Valley, to ensure that it remains an accessible and enjoyable open green space. The group is registered as a charity with HMRC and is recognised and supported by Medway Council and the Kent Wildlife Trust. A key objective of the FHV is to promote awareness of the Valley among all age groups.

The group is looking for new members, committee members, officers and volunteers. Tracey is encouraging residents to join the group and help conserve the greenery for current and future generations.

To find out more about how you can get involved please contact the group’s honorary secretary- phone: 01634 400395/ e-mail: [email protected].
