Tracey Celebrates School Building Funding

Today Tracey was delighted to receive a letter from the Secretary of State for Education, Rt Hon Nicky Morgan MP, and the Minister of State for Schools, the Rt Hon David Laws MP, detailing funding that has been awarded to schools in the constituency. The funding awards are part of two projects set up by this Government to ensure that our children are being educated in the best learning environment possible.

Tracey Responds to Chatham Tesco Closure

The decision that Tesco will be closing its Chatham Superstore is obviously a hugely disappointing one, especially for those employees concerned and their families. While this is a commercial decision taken by Tesco as part of a national restructuring of their operations, my main concern is now the support being offered to those employees in helping them find alternative work, whether within Tesco or elsewhere. I have made clear that this is my priority in my discussions with Tesco and I will continue to liaise with them in the coming months.

Pets and the elderly is an issue that is often mentioned when discussing the wellbeing of older people and it was great to see so many organisations and Members coming together in Parliament to champion the benefits of companion animals to older people’s lives. Tracey Invites Constituents to Attend Pensioners Fair

I am really excited to announce on 13 February I will be hosting my first Pensioners Advice & Information Fair. The aim of the Fair is to introduce support, voluntary and active services or organisations to pensioners in the Malling area o…f the constituency. So far over 45 stalls have been confirmed they will be attending the event at the RBLI’s Capel Morris Centre in Aylesford.

Tracey Becomes a School Sport Champion
