Public Consultation on Future of Kent Care Homes

Tracey is of course extremely disappointed to learn of the potiential closure of the Dorothy Lucey home in Maidstone alongside other potentional changes to Kent care home provision proposed by Kent County Council (KCC). As a Co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Dementia for the last Parliament Tracey is aware that local care homes who can support people with dementia for respite day or residential care are an extremely important life life for carers to allow them to continue to care for their loved ones primarily in the home.

Tracey Unveils Defib for Aylesford Football Club

 In her ongoing campaign for more defibrillators in the local community, Tracey has supported and recently unveiled the defibrillator for the Aylesford Football Club thanks to South East Water’s Community Chest Fund. 

Tracey Warns Constituents of Scam Callers

Tracey has been contacted by constituents reporting suspicious telephone calls who are claiming to be the Government offering them an £8,000 one-off grant. The caller claims the Government is randomly selecting people to receive this grant and demand a £250 one-off payment deposit to unlock the funds, which can be made via the Post Office.

Tracey Promotes AED Locator Tool

In support of the campaign for more community defibrillators, Tracey is encouraging everyone to make use of the AED Locator site to check and be aware of where they can access a heart defibrillator in the case of a cardiac emergency.
