Tracey Welcomes Women and Broadband Challenge Fund 2015

The Government has announced that the women and broadband programme for women entrepreneurs will be extended to support more women to take their business online and take advantage of superfast broadband through a further £1.1 million Investment. The funding is being made available to provide a programme to help women take advantage of superfast broadband to either start a business or work from home. This is in addition to the £1.1m the Government has already invested.

Tracey Supports the Ovarian Cancer Postcode Lottery Campaign

New analysis by Target Ovarian Cancer has been launched this week in the Target Ovarian Cancer’s new report launch. The Ovarian Cancer Postcode Lottery report highlights that women can be at risk of delayed diagnosis, poorer treatment and lower survival outcomes, depending on their postcode. Tracey is supporting the campaign that all women should have access to the best standards of care and treatment wherever they live.

Tracey Supports Carers Week 2015

Tracey has again pledged her support to carers across Chatham and Aylesford as part of the national Carers Week 2015 awareness campaign, which runs from 8-14th June. There are 6.5 million people in the UK who care for a partner, relative or friend, of which 9032 carers are in Chatham and Aylesford. Without the right help and support, caring can have a devastating impact – carers can quickly become isolated, with their physical and emotional health, work and finances all hit hard.

Tracey Launches Medway Dementia Action Alliance
