Kings Ferry Support Work Experience Travel

Tracey has received a positive response to a letter she wrote to The Kings Ferry Travel Group regarding concessionary fares for young people doing work experience in London. Tracey, in an attempt to support the ability of young people to come to Westminster to partake in work experience within her office, wrote to The Kings Ferry Group to ask if they would consider allowing them concessionary prices for their travel.

Tracey Pledges To Fight For Breast Cancer Patients

Tracey has pledged to take the fight for improved breast cancer services to Westminster, whilst she attended the Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s Parliamentary Reception last Monday. Reminded that UK breast cancer survival rates still lag behind those of other European countries, Tracey committed, once again, to providing a voice for women diagnosed with the disease – nearly 48,000 throughtout the UK each year.

Big Lottery Fund Helping Financial Education

The Big Lottery Fund has launched a new investment fund called Improving Financial Confidence. Improving Financial Confidence is a strategic investment fund aimed at helping people become more confident and more aware of how to take control over their finances.

Abbeyfield Week 2011 – Generational Skills Swap

Tracey this week lent her support to Abbeyfield Week 2011 by taking part in a generational skills swap in Parliament. Tracey Crouch was joined by the actor and Abbeyfield patron Geoffrey Palmer in Parliament to raise awareness of this innovative scheme, which brings together older and younger people to encourage them to swap invaluable skills.

Tracey Crouch visits Olympic Park

Yesterday, Tracey, accompanied by fellow MPs, visited the new Olympic Park in Stratford. Tracey and her colleagues were given a tour of the park that will be used to house the London 2012 Olympic Games. The site is still under construction but MPs witnessed how it is starting to take shape.
