Tracey Welcomes New Personalised GP Care for the Elderly

Tracey is delighted that Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, has today announced that new GP contract for 2014/15 has been agreed.The changes outlined in these contracts will give millions of elderly people a dedicated GP personally accountable for their care around the clock will bring back the era of the old-fashioned family doctor.Under changes to their contract with the NHS, GPs will ensure the four million patients aged 75 or over will get all the treatment they need for physical and mental conditions.

Tracey Opens Refurbished Larkfield Post Office

On Friday 1 November Tracey officially opened the Larkfield Post Office, which has just undergone a major refurbishment. To celebrate the launch of the new style branch Tracey cut the ribbon at the Post Office in McColls Retail Group Ltd, 24 – 28 Martin Square, Aylesford, ME20 6QJ.

Tracey backs Movember 2013

Today Tracey showed her support for Movember 2013 by becoming a ‘Virtual Mo Sista’ on the Movember in Parliament website (www.movemberinparliament.co.uk), as part of a wider campaign to raise awareness and money for Movember and Men’s Health.

Today Tracey continued to support vulnerable people in Chatham and Aylesford, as well as across the rest of the UK, in safely crossing the road by supporting Mary Glindon MP’s Westminster Hall debate on electronic vehicles and vulnerable road users.

Tracey has raised the sale of “legal highs” in the House of Commons with Ministers at the Home Office this week following recent news reports concerning the sale of these substances on Chatham High Street.
