Tracey is calling for constituents to get involved with comparethemarket.com’s latest Great British Switch campaign. This provides the chance to nominate a local charity to be awarded a £50,000 donation. The funds will be offered in recognition of a cause which brings local people and communities together.

The Prince’s Trust are on the hunt for volunteer Talent Match Mentors in Medway and Tracey is calling for action from local residents in support of the Talent Match drive!

Tracey is encouraging parents and carers of young children in Chatham and Aylesford to read regularly to their children.

Tracey has joined forces with women affected by ovarian cancer to call for local action to address the steps needed to improve survival in ovarian cancer in Chatham and Aylesford.  

As a strong campaigner on better animal welfare standards it is with great delight that Tracey supports yesterday’s launch of a new website for re-homing pets – Find a Pet. It matchmakes rescue pets all over the UK with their perfect new owners, allowing members of the public to find new pets quickly and easily – and helping shelter pets find the loving homes they deserve.

As a member of the Political and Constitutional Reform Select Committee in the House of Commons, Tracey is excited to announce that an open public competition is being launched today to find who can write the best Preamble for a modern Written Constitution for the UK.

Tracey showed her support for a campaign led by the charity Guide Dogs to make travelling by bus easier for people with sight loss.

This week Tracey has joined a cross-party group of MPs in coming together to create a genuine Recall Bill that would give voters the power to remove MPs if they lose the confidence of a majority of their voters.

It is with great pleasure that Tracey welcomed Rt Hon Sir Nicholas MP to the Royal British Legion Village in Aylesford for a delightful afternoon tea and reflections on his grandfather, war time Prime Minister Winston Churchill. The event was organised as part of the Centenary Celebrations to mark the First World War, the impact of which is still felt around the world today. The event was extremely well attended and all funds raised from ticket sales will be put towards the Garden of Honour that the centre are fundraising for.

Tracey recently joined forces with a dedicated cancer campaigner from Chatham to highlight Cancer Research UK’s ambition to help more people survive.
