A mammoth envelope packing operation has been taking place at the Cobdown Sports Club in Ditton over the past two days. We know it is the largest operation recently conducted by a local Association but I am beginning to wonder if it is an all time record? In less than 3 days (they are back tomorrow too), 120 volunteers will have packed and sorted 60,000 surveys and letters from local Conservative Tonbridge & Malling Councillors to be delivered over the next couple of weeks to undecided voters across the two constituencies. It sounds like it has been great fun – paper cuts aside – now all we need to do is deliver them…

Bother! I was going to be there for this, and had the map and aerial view all ready, but — in the then still chaotic state of this place since my recent move of home to here, I entered it for the first three days of *March* in error.
Of course, this is the one month of the year where the dates fall on the same days. Ouch! Sorry about that…
Still, it's obvious that you had a tremendous turnout and it's all very impressive stuff, no doubt indicative of the general mood in the country. Nearly everyone wants to be rid of Labour, and many are strongly motivated to do something about it.
