Chatham & Aylesford Band Rock the House

Last week, Chatham and Aylesford band ‘The Flowing’ attended a celebratory event, at a select club off Regent Street, to mark their nomination to the final of the Rock the House Competition.

‘The Flowing’ met Tracey at the event to celebrate her nominating them to represent Chatham & Aylesford in the Rock the House competition. Rock The House is an exciting Parliamentary project, created by Mike Weatherley MP, in partnership with leading music industry practitioners. The competition will raise awareness of the need for copyright protection measures and inform MPs and the general public as to the importance of copyright protection within the creative industries, while encouraging young people and new musicians to pursue a career in music and promote live music venues.

The competition will take place in two parts; it will find and showcase the newest and most talented bands and the most innovative “live venues”. The event last week was to celebrate the first round of the competition, with all MPs choosing their constituency finalists. It was well attended by MPs and their nominated bands as well as X Factor star, Katie Waissel, and other industry professionals.

A great evening to celebrate a lot of great talent and Tracey wishes ‘The Flowing’ all the best of luck!!
